I-Robot and Backlink Creators

Well as always the the answer to that question is Yes and No!!!!
I have been trying these for the past few weeks to see what happens to both this site and some local search sites.
What are my results and findings and what does work and what does not work. I am not promoting either of these products or giving a link as you will find them everywhere and just type in google and you will see a plethora come up
I have tried the I-Robot and Backlink-Creator from Greg, leave a comment or email me if you want more details
So YES they do work:
These tools are pretty simple to use and set up and there are loads of tutorials with them and on YouTube. Yes they do post content to your blogs or site etc YES this will happen on autopilot – but you need to stay on top of spam or add a decent anti spam plugin.
No they did not help my rankings or content!!
Here is the main problem as far as I can see – adding them to this kind of blog even as a ‘dummy ‘ page means you get so many random links and content any reader gets bored and moves on.
So on a personal blog like this one I would recommend do not use it. I have since removed 3 weeks of posts here!!!!
Yes They Work on a local search site!!
Well again they do post content but because the keywords you are meant to be focussing on for a local search site is very narrow – the ‘Content Adders’ just add all kinds of content yes within the similar category like pets for example. But you then get so many keywords flying around your real single keyword gets lost.
What happens then is you just slip down the rankings as your main keyword gets swamped by daily new posts.
So No I do not think they work on local search sites and I have removed them.
Yes they work on product sites
Well again similar to above the keywords just get watered down – the jury is still out on this one though as the sniper site idea takes longer but does work
So I am leaving the ‘content Adder’ on about half my product sites to see hwhat happens over the next couple of months.
All in all – I am happy to leave them off my main sites and get content added reguarley and by me – yes it takes a bit longer but google wants good quality fresh content and will then show you love for doing so

How to Get Focused

I am finding time and again that the key thing in this work is staying focussed on the project ahead.
I have noted a few problems and possible solutions to this below … Enjoy and comment if you can add to them please do.
Distraction:-
Problem:-
There is always something else to do that seems more relevant and fun than Interent marketing.
Answer:-
Get a simple excell sheet and set clear timeframe to do things – same as you would in a regular job – date this and keep a record
Virtual Networking:-
Problem:-
Virtual networking takes a lot longer ie you send an email or post on a wall or similar and then you wait a day or 2 for an answer then you post back and before you know it a week has gone by.
Answer:-
Narrow down the amount of people you are trying to network with – yep they all look good and are making money or doing well – but just network with 2 or 3 people maximum.
Building Project:-
Problem:-
It is hard to ‘see’ the project in a virtual sense. In my offline business if I am refurbishing a house or building a new one – I can go there each week and see progress/talk to people/ measure things and see a visual tactile difference.
Answer:-
same as in offline really stick with one project and see it through, if you was building a house or refurbing a property you would not leave it half finished for weeks. so if producing a product or similar see it through. When i first started refurbing property 30 years ago they where not brilliant but now my guys do an exceptional job. Because I stuck with it and have experience now.
Lack of Results:-

So hard to contiue when you see no money coming in or list not growing, or progress on your blog

I had to adjust my timeframe drastically from the sales letters that say ‘ buy this and get $50,000 in your account every month’ In my research that has taken them years to get to that level. Again I can make good money in property in one deal and that deal is done in 24 hours so I mught make xxxx$$$$ but it has taken me years to get here.
So I had to change from a one or two month plan to a year plan to see results.
So there are just a few thoughts re the current challenges I am facing:-
So what is the plan – well i mentioned in I think my first post regarding finding a mentor – this is sooo much harder than i first thought too – reason being is most ‘gurus’ do not have time or inclination to mentor people on a one to one basis. Understandably, if i was making xxxx amount $$$ dollars why would i offer training at say $50 an hour.
So what most offer is a load of videos in the members area and then access to a private forum. Again this is a bit of a pain as most people in the forum are asking the same questions and often the blind leading the blind.
What is needed I think is somebody to look at what you or I am currently doing asses the sites and give advise. Once Iget this cracked i have a brilliant mentoring outline I would be able to offer people. Once i get it cracked though.
However i think I may have found a guy who offers mentoring so watch this space and will let you know ….
Actually even just posting re the challenges will help you focus!!!

Earn money online !!! now that is a different thing altogether!!!
Like you I see endless email and sales pages promising a magic bullet to make you $10.000 a month in the next 60 days or your money back.
To be honest if you are making that kind of moneyand you are ‘only doing this to help you’ why sell it to everybody for $37 !! why not just give it away if you are really that altruistic.
All just bobbins really – i would love to have known what are som simple ways of earning some money online when i first started. Then once i got the hang of it i coul djust rinse and repeat.
So here is a genuine way you can earn $500 a week every week online!! notice I said earn!!

outlined below is a very simple method of using the site but first a few tips and what to do
1, Register as a professional sounding person!!
use a name like seo services or photo designs rahter than crazycat or scaryhairy!!!
All this helps the user with confidence
2, Make sure you link your account to your mobile or email
this way you can respond almost immediatly somebody requests a gig
This will help as people want immediate response
3, Answer short and succint without waffling
people want the answer not your sales pitch
4, Advise
If poss advise and help the person they will come back or bookmark you
5, specialise
do not offer loads of things choos one or two things you can do and then focus
6, Systemise it
Choose to offer something you can systemise – for example buy a bookmarking tool (or free trial) and then offer to bookmark peoples’ page to 5000 links or similar. it will take you mins but offers reall value to the user
7, Systemise it
Agian this is the key - do not offer to do something that takes you more than 15 mins max!!!!! you will get bored and it will take all your time
8, Research
Look and see what others are offering – check the rating and popularity and then ‘copy and personlaise’ notice I did not say ‘copy and past’ it needs to be you.
9, Follow up
Always follow up any requests as they may not have taken anybody up people want something done cheaply but they want a service. So if you are a seen as proffessional they may offer you more. I recently bought 3 articles for $5 I was so impressed by the lady and quality i ordered anothe $50 worth and still have her details!!!
10, Rinse and repeat
Once you have a system it is a piece of cake – if you get too busy outsource it
11, Make more money and grow!!!
Below are 5 other sites similar to Fiverr, just 2 gigs a day on Fiverr will bring you $300 a month, then times that by 5 other sites where you ofer the same service = $1500 amonth
Oh yes it is work and you are earning money !!! There are fees to pay and you will need to put time in setting up your system but if you are serious about earning money it is a good start.

That kind of Headline always sounds nice to me – especially if it is sold as part-time. It sems realistic and acheivable.
The normal sales letter goes something like - ‘I made $124.325.54 last month’ Our thinking then goes ‘well if that is how much an expert can earn each month – even a fraction of that will do me’ so we sign up to a latest offer for $47 dollars expecting a silver bullet or magic button. It just does not exist.
Very quickly we find it was a launch and they used 5 years worth of list building and jv partners!!.
So what is achievable???
$2000 a month within the next 3 months!!
I think $2000 a month is a very acheivable amount after a few months work, probably doing around 2 -3 hours a day. Now that is work but it is very achievable.
The problem comes that the typical newbie does not know what to do . I have , like many others, loads of WSO’s or good products that if yo ufollow and stick to it work.
Then I saw Dan Brock run a competition on his website recently .
he had over 100 comments with people adding in things that are working for them!!!
so I thought I would do a page that gave some outlines of ways you can make up to £2000 a month comforatably with 3 2 hours work per day – everyday. remeber you need to do this everyday and you will be earning!!

This is how I’ve been making $15,000 – $20,000 a month for the last 8 months.
It’s so simple even Dan could do it :p
Step 1 –
Think of the most embarrassing helth problems you can (herpes, genital warts, bad breath, rash on ____ ). Things people dont even want to go to the doctor for.
Do your keyword research and create a list of them.
Step 2 -
Find a related affiliate program for each ailment that has a good sales page and offers a solution to the problem. Sign up and get your affiliate link.
Match them up with your keywords.
Step 3 -
Check to make sure that people are talking about this problem in forums and blogs by doing a google search.
- “how do i get rid of herpes?”
- “how can i cure genital warts?”
etc….
Step 4 -
Spend the $500 on Outsourcers. Pay them to find forums and blogs where people are asking for cures to their problem.
Then have them make helpful posts with the appropriate affiliate link. (known as Forum Marketing)
Step 5 -
Once that niche or problem has been exausted, move on to the next.
Wash, Rinse and have your Outsourcers Repeat.
This is how YOU WILL make at least $2,000 per month with only a few hours of work.
I currently employ 8 Outsourcers to do this for me full time. The payoff is TENFOLD. I pay $2,000 a month and get back at least $15,000.
Each month my sales grow by about $1,500.
If I got off my lazy but and hired more outsourcers I would make even more.
Just chose your niches wisely.

Best Exit I Have Seen So Far

So I searched around for ages trying to find a good exit scrip that pops up when sombody leaves your site.
I did buy one for around $50 but there where just too many problems with it and it was sooo restricting in the text
The wplapdance is simply so easy to use – you can have a really simple one like i have when you leave here.
Or put in your own banner or text, or even better if you are really keen add in a video.
Ok so the guy sounds a bit crazy but for $7 it is well worth the punt. I will let you know in a month or so how many extra subscribers I am getting. I am also doing some local search sites for local businesses and have added this to those sites.
That way if I collect a number of people interested in the service by giving away a free product or coupons the site has more value as it has a list of people interested in product.
Or I can direct people direct to a CPA offer that I am running – This is a simple way of catching browsers and turn them into potential customers.

Well having been online now for a few weeks and reading around loads of different blogs and information it appears to me that one of the biggest challenges is actually get finished what you started or actually doing what you set out to do !!!
There must be literally hundreds of blogs that have a last post earlier this year or even years ago, I have seen loads already.
I have found and am finding that it is key to set a daily weekly plan and see what you are aiming at otherwise one week just slips by into another. Then if you take some time off it is 2 weeks gone and before you know it a month has gone by and you are left trying to play catchup!!!! not good
So here is a good plan set yourself a clear task for each day – it needs to be clear too – not something like ” I’ll get on with my internet stuff today” otherwise you will sit down at computer and end up fiddling and not achieving very much.
Remember this is a business you are building and if you turned up for work with the same attitude that you try and run your online work you would soon be out of a job. Or if you run your offline business in a way that just puts things off you are going nowhere.
Procrastination
What a cracking word basically it means -putting off or delaying or defering an action to a later time
I recall a short story that was flying around one of these spam emails years ago that went a bit like
Bob eventually crawls out of bed 30 mins after the alarm goes off, as it is so nice in bed.
He walks past the computer and turns it on as he is going to really crack on today and put in the time
main job he is going to do is get a new post written with some useful content
but first he needs a cup of tea, well one more and he will be ready.
He then sits in front of computer in his pyjama bottoms and thinks right lets go and opens up a word document.
whilst waiting for that he just checks emails and answers a few
he got a bit sidelined into facebook and just left a few commments here and there.
Now then where was i – oh yes the post so let me scrible out a few thoughts on a piece of A4
eventually finds a pencil and decides to sharpen it and instantly sees a few more that need sharpening as that feels good
back to the post and just to get some ideas flicks through a few other peoples’ blogs,
and leaves a few comments and seees a good product that is Free so downloads it to read later!!
back to the post and as he does sees that the cat is looking to go out so gets up and lets her out and decides to feed fish too, anyway better give mum a ring too whilst i am here.
Eventaually realises it is 10.37am and nearly coffee time – so decides to have coffee early and get on with the post after coffee!! but there are no biscuits in the house and the shop is only on the corner so quickly gets dressed and drops down the shop for a packet of biscuits and bumps into Ralph who has a day off and wants to meet up for a beer lunchtime. Mmmm cant do lunchtime as i have got so much on and have a post to write but catch you this evening .
So back to the house – nice coffee and biscuit and settles down to write the post. but hears his tummy rumbling and realises had no breakfast and it is nearly midday so lets have an early lunch of egg and bacon and get to the post after brunch
Always feel better with a bit of food inside you, so has lunch and sat down just for five minutes watching the news and will get to the post by 1pm definitely.
up from the news went to the loo all settled down in front of computer to write post – al ready to go but computer is a bit slow so if i just clear a few things from desktop or at least file them away it will speed things up.
ok all done and now the kids are on there way back from school what a pain with all the noise cant they see i am trying to work here and make us some extra holiday money.
After losing his rag a bit decides to go for a beer with Ralph and make a fresh start on the post tomorrow as it is far too late in the day to be thinking straight now anyway!!!!
Anyway could drop in the stationary shop and buy an organiser and diary to help plan next week!!
And so we go on and on putting it off
My one bit of advice to you today is
Get on With It Now!!! Yes Right Now
make a list of things to do and get on with it
your list could look as simple as this – it does not need to be a great mindmap that takes an hour
- 30 mins facebook andswer commments and add 10 friends
- 15 mins Twitter
- comment on 10 blogs
- 1 hour set up 2 excell sheets of all login codes etc
- 1 hour write a good quality post and find some relevant pics
- etc
- etc
It is so important to spell out what you need to do rather than Procrastinate

Write An Article For Me – Fiverr

There are times you just need a one off job and it is too much hassle to post a job vacancy on Elance, Odesk or one of the others. By the time you have crafted your advert and spent time responding to applicants etc you might just as well do it yourself.
So for one off jobs i have been using a site called Fiverr.com some of you I am sure are aware of this site. If not it is quite a good site to find workers who will do work for you very cheaply ie 5 dollars!!!
As with all sites you need to beware of scam merchants and scoundrels but if you use the popularity button and the rating buttons near the top you can then just take a look at the top 10 or 20 results.
I have found a good article writer from there and she now does work for me on a regular basis. I have been very pleased with the articles she has done for me.
I would recommend getting just one article or job done first – if it goes wrong or you are not happy you can always get them to put it right – and if still not happy leave feedback. The ones I have worked with are very keen to keep good high quality feedback so as to attract more work.
Also if it does go pear shaped it is only $5 and i am not suggesting you throw money away but for the price of a coffee and sticky bun you can get a simple job done.
Here are a few things I have done
- Get articles written
- Sign up to tubemogul and open accounts for me
- Get 10 good quality backlinks
- Make a poster with flyers
- Design and make me a banner
- Make me 3 x 1 min videos
Have a look and see what is on offer – you just type in your keyword top right and see what comes back.
have a look around some of the daft things people will do for a fiver too.
Beware dont spend too long here and get some work done !!!!

Finding a good Worker for Your Everyday Tasks
By · CommentsFind a good VA is very hard and getting the right one is key in moving your business forward.
I have recruited many people over the years in my offline businesses and i have found it is more important to recruit with the following in mind;
‘Character is more important than skills’ you see if you have somebody with the right attitude you can teach them the right skills, but somebody with the skills but lacking in attitude and personal skills will just be an uphill struggle and you will end up laying them of.
In finding the right person for online work I am finding the similar thing is true. here are a few tips that will help you and a a few sites to start looking for your worker.

There are plenty of others but if you cannot find there then you are posting the wrong kind of job, I would personally only recruit from the philippines as they speak great English and are very hard working.

To start with you need to post the right advert, and here is where you need to be very specific. On the Odesk.com you will find a good example of a good advert and a bad advert.

Make it interesting — no one wants to be bored, and talented people have multiple options.
Identify yourself and your company.- If this isn’t appropriate, write a sentence about who you are and what your company does.
Offer incentives — If there’s the potential for longer-term work, say so. This to attracts more, and better, candidates.
Have you ever sorted through resumes and were appalled by the way some completely fail to interest you? Look at your job description with the same eye
Be Clear -make sure your advert spells out exactly what you want and expect ie 3 hours per day adding 20 friends on facebook and 20 blog comments – is better than just putting facebook and blog commenting
As I mentioned Odesk is just one of the good places to find a good worker, but please check out the others and settle on one you feel comfortable with.
Before you post look at some other adverts to get some ideas and then post something similar.

Getting Traffic to My Site
By · CommentsGetting Traffic is the key to any succees – or should I say ‘good quality’ traffic. you can easily go and buy 50,000 hits for about $10 – $30 and they promise the world etc and never add any thing to your site.
I did this once with CPA offers I basically set up a squeeze page to ‘warm up’ any potential customers, then linked that to my CPA offer. I then went and bought 20,000 ”customers’ for $10 and waited to count how much money I was going to make!!
I had Google analytics all installed and watched the hits -well i got hits but not one conversion!!! just rubbish traffic.
So good traffic is the key thing and there is no short cut.
The best bit advise and programme I got was from George Brown – who actually lives near me!! I got his trafficultimaton.com programme and I can honestly say it is excellent.
If you do nothing else but buy this one piece of kit you will be flooded with traffic as you put into action all the FREE methods he shows you in really simple to follow videos.
I may do a whole review of his product as I was so impressed with it and can happily recommend it to you.
When I saw George is is just a fresh faced ‘boy’ and I thought what can he know but the content is truly brilliant.
It is packed with easy to follow videos and very clear instructions, so you can easily give a video to your VA, if you have one and just say ‘do this please’ it is that simple
As I say hoping to do a complete review over the next few days.
